Do I need an account?

No. Tap Skip on the welcome screen to use fitkor in demo mode: everything is stored on your device only and nothing is sent to us. Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want to sync between devices or link up with a trainer.

Is fitkor free?

Yes. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads and no locked features.

The barcode scanner doesn't find my product

Barcodes come from the Open Food Facts database, which is community-maintained and does not cover every product. When a barcode is unknown you can create a custom food with its name, macros and serving size, and it will be there next time.

The camera doesn't open when I want to scan

Check that fitkor has camera permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera, or Settings → Apps → fitkor → Permissions on Android. The camera preview only appears while the search field is empty — start typing and it steps aside.

My workouts disappeared

Check the date first: each tab follows the day you are browsing, and a workout shows under the day it was actually trained. Your history is in the Workout tab — a session that is still running is offered to you for saving or discarding when you return.

Sync isn't working

fitkor works offline and catches up when it can. A failed push is shown in the app and retried automatically. If a trainer you linked with can't see your data, pull to refresh on their side and make sure the link is marked active under More → Network.

How do I delete my account and everything in it?

Email us from the address you signed in with, with the subject "delete my account", and we will remove your account, your synced records and any trainer links. See our privacy policy for details.

Can I delete a single entry?

Yes — any food entry, weight entry, workout, program, diet plan or saved meal can be deleted in the app, and the deletion reaches the server on the next sync.

How do I change my name?

Run the setup flow again from More → Network and edit the name field on the sign-in step. That field is the one place a display name is set, and it must be unique across accounts.

What does fitkor read and write?

With permission, fitkor reads weight, workouts, steps, sleep and nutrition, and writes your weight, completed workouts and daily nutrition back. Nutrition is replaced per day, so counts do not stack up over repeated syncs.

Why don't I see steps or sleep?

Those permissions are requested together with the others the first time you reach the sign-in step, and you can change them at any time in Settings → Health → fitkor. If a category was denied, the dashboard shows a label instead of inventing a number.

How do I stop fitkor from using Apple Health?

Revoke access in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → fitkor (iOS) or in the Health Connect app (Android). Existing entries stay where they are until you delete them.

How do I install the Watch app?

Open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll to Available Apps, and install fitkor on the watch. It appears after the iPhone app has been opened at least once.

The watch doesn't follow my workout

Start the session on the iPhone — the plan travels from the phone, and the watch joins it. Keep both devices reasonably close: they talk over Bluetooth. A set logged on the wrist that the phone hasn't applied yet is queued and re-sent, so nothing is lost when the connection drops mid-set.

How do I connect to my trainer?

More → Network, search for your trainer and send a request. When they accept, the link becomes active and they can assign you a training program and a diet plan. Nothing is shared before that.

How do I disconnect?

More → Network → Your connections → Remove. Access ends immediately, and you can link again later.

I'm a trainer — where do I work?

Sign in at train.fitfrog.cc in a browser for the client roster, program authoring and diet plans. Your clients' own apps show them the same programs and plans.

Can I bring my training history across?

Yes. In the program builder, use the import icon to pick an exported spreadsheet of workouts. Your sessions and program are imported as ordinary history — nothing is locked to the file. An exercise the catalog doesn't know is imported under its own name and reported to you afterwards rather than silently dropped.

Can I send a plan to someone?

In the program builder, use the export icon to write your program and its completed sessions to a spreadsheet file you can share anywhere. Re-importing that file rebuilds the same plan.
